Morata Likely To Make Loan Move To Arsenal

Reports suggest Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is the most likely candidate to join Arsenal on loan in January in order to boost their title chances through the second half of the season.

Wenger will make a move for the £15million rated striker to partner Olivier Giroud up front with the Frenchman struggling for goals over the Christmas period.
Lukas Podolski has returned from injury and a new striker in the form of Morata would give Wenger five options alongside Giroud, Theo Walcott and Nicklas Bendtner, should he stay at the Emirates in January.

Morata has made just one La Liga start for Real Madrid this season having been used by Carlo Ancelotti primarily as a substitute.

The 21-year-old Spaniard has scored twice in wins over Levante and Almeria having starred in Spain’s U21 squad in Israel during the summer for the U21 European Championships in which he scored four goals and won the Golden Boot as tournament top scorer.
